Information security is concerned with the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information regardless of the form it may take: electronic, print, or other forms.  It is frequently (though mistakenly) associated only with electronic data and IT systems.

Information security management concerns the establishment, operation, maintenance and improvement of systems to improve information security.
