Management Reviews
A management review offers a rapid and cost-effective assessment of a client’s contingency planning requirements and capabilities. The review looks at the activities and operations of the organisation and current recovery capability. By comparing this with best practice and recognised standards, we develop a prioritised list of recommendations to improve resilience.
The Management Review provides a useful road map for use during the implementation of contingency planning arrangements.
We offer four types of Management Review, each designed to address the specific needs of our clients:
Resilience Review
The Resilience Review comprises a series of management discussions, structured interviews, questionnaires and physical inspections to build up a picture of current contingency planning arrangements. The resulting Review Report provides a gap analysis, recommendations and an implementation action plan. The Resilience Review is used to verify the arrangements for incident management, business continuity plans and business continuity strategy.
IT Service Continuity Review
The IT Service Continuity Review works in the same way as our Resilience Review, but is focussed upon IT incident management, IT recovery plans and the IT recovery strategy.
BS 25999-2 Health Check
The BS 25999-2 Health Check is a rapid and cost-effective assessment of an organisation’s readiness for BS 25999 certification. We review an organisation’s operations, recovery capability, the business continuity management system and supporting plans and procedures. We then benchmark the components against the requirements of BS 25999-2, the British Standard for Business Continuity Management, providing a gap analysis and recommendations for achieving certification.
Internal Audit
The Internal Audit provides organisations with independent assurance regarding the ongoing operation of business or IT service continuity arrangements. Comprising a documentation review, senior management discussions and operational management interviews we assess the extent of compliance with defined procedures and benchmarks.
