Often delivered as a component of our Continuity Blueprint Report, an impact analysis is necessary to underpin an effective contingency plan. By understanding the potential impact of any disruption, an organisation can define its critical activities, identify the resources required to effect recovery, and take appropriate mitigation actions.
Using a proven methodology, we can develop a robust and auditable impact analysis. We use this information to define the recovery time objective and maximum tolerable period of disruption for each business processes and/ or IT service. These recovery requirements can then be assessed against current capability to provide a gap analysis. When combined with a risk assessment, this information can be used to develop a business continuity strategy and plan.
We can undertake a combined impact analysis that measures the impact of loss of business processes and the IT services that support them.
